Three Tune Tuesday - 15th of November 2022
This is my 5th post on @ablaze's - #threetunetuesday. Today I bring you three pieces that will get you up on your feet and dance. They are so good that I had a hard time writing the text for this post because I was distracted listening to the guitarist. Who am I talking about? Well, you are too young 😉 to remember but once upon a time, there was a great artist named Prince Enjoy!
Esta es mi 5a entrada en la de @ablaze - #threetunetuesday. Hoy les traigo tres piezas que haran que se pongan de pie a bailar. Son tan buenas que se me dificulto escribir el texto porque me distraia oyendo al gutarrista. ¿De quien se trata? Pues ustedes soy muy jovenes 😉 para recordar pero una vez hubo un gran artista llamado Prince. ¡Disfruten!
Yes, I know I told you that Jazz is my favorite style of music, but close behind is also Classic Rock and therefore I appreciate good guitar players. This is one of the best Prince solos I've ever heard. Here he is accompanied by other Rock legends performing While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
Si, yo sé que les dije que el Jazz es mi estilo de música favorita, pero muy cerca está también el Rock Clásico y por lo tanto aprecio mucho a los buenos guitarristas. Este es uno de los mejores solos de Prince que le he escuchado. Aquí es acompañado de otras leyendas del Rock interpretando While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
The second piece has a Latin touch, as he is accompanied by Bella Sheila E - who was one of his best friends and artistic collaborators throughout his career. Here he performs live Sheila's classic, The Glamorous Life.
La segunda pieza tiene un toque latino, pues es acompañado de la Bella Sheila E - quien fuera una de sus mejores amigos y colaboradores artísticos a lo largo de su carrera. Aquí interpretando en vivo el clásico de Sheila, The Glamorous Life
Finally, probably my favorite Prince live performance - almost tied with his Super Bowl halftime show - here performing one more Rock's classic from the Wild Cherry, Play That Funky Music.

Prince. Amazingly I can't remember many Three Tune Tuesday posts that have included a Prince number, so good on you for this Ode to the wonderful Prince - I really enjoyed these - hard to believe himself and Tom Petty are both dead 😭😭
