Went to Tiong Bahru for lunch for #marketfriday by @dswigle. It was crowded but still found a table.

Bought a pork porridge for $4 and the portion is not big. At least it taste good enough.

The porridge looks good! What do they use for a base in the porridge? Is it rice based? The dessert looks savory as opposed to sweet, but, I would give it a try!

I enjoy learning about the world and how it is to live in your corner of it, and if there are solutions to making it better in any way. I find it interesting to compare, not by the world's standards, but, by how we find the quality of our life with different indicators than the world does. It is not always about the wealth in money, sometimes money means very little when there is no value behind it. You cannot buy health although you can take care of what you have. Being educated isn't always about schooling, but acquiring knowledge and using it for the better good and happiness of the society you are living in. It is with great pleasure that I read through this and all of the posts, with these thoughts in mind.

Don't miss the small things in your life, they usually make no noise but can be indicators of bigger things. I enjoy learning more about you and hope you feel the same, that is why I find it important to take the time to read a couple of #MarketFriday posts and leave a genuine comment. It is important for a community to do this, learning about others, and getting to know each other. The fun is in getting to know people and making a positive contribution to community life. Yes, porridge is basically cooking rice with more water so it sort of a rice soup kind of thing if I can describe it that way.
