The Hive Engagement League

This league is not based around financial rewards and relates to engagement on the Hive blockchain.

Everyone currently on my master list has a chance here, including those powering down or dealing in delegations over the past couple of weeks. Only the top 100 scores are shown.

The score is made up from a simple formula which uses the following types of engagement:

  • Posts (P)
  • Comments (C)
  • Number of people spoken to (PS)
  • Comments outside of own posts (CO)
  • Unique Author posts (UA)
  • Comments - replies to replies - depth > 2 (CR)
  • Comments - length in characters (CL)
  • Up-votes to others (V)
  • Up-votes to different authors (UV)
  • Self-votes - No minus score but no bonus HIVE (SV)

Note: Copy/Paste comments will be excluded!

A little observation, I see that you don't make your comments through the leofinance front end and I think that may be the reason you were not part of the tops.

What I'm trying to say is, it is better to post through the front end whenever the post you are reading was made using it. Because, it is easy to make a comment on peakd-hive, so if we see any post made through the leofinance front end, it is advisable to make your comments using it too.

Close is good :) You have paved your numbers well and even when you get busy offline, you are still up the ranks. I also slacked this past days so I wasn't expecting the result as I saw today. Just keep going as you are, and make your comments count. It's surprising how much the length of the comment makes a difference in how people rank on the list. Short comments or long comments, pick your spots for them.

Yea both of them work out and I remember making really long comments in the past. They were a few paragraphs but I kind of stopped doing that. Instead of expanding too much, I just think it's better to give an idea and expand later.

I started doing that recently, too. It's a harder habit for me to break out of, but I'm working on that.

I'm seeing results with the engagement strategies I picked up from @forexbrokr, @taskmaster4450le, and @shortsegments this month. I'll keep going with them before I attempt to make a comment into a post again and see how it works out then.

Making it to the top 100 is already a good show and you can slowly move up in the ranks. Over time, it just gets easier to comment if you are consistent.

Friends, don't want to get into the habit of mentioning a long list of names, lol, congratulations to all the brave writers who spent their precious time reading blogs and writing comments, you are the best, no matter where in the list)! But, of course, we have something to strive for).

It all depends on how you look at it @barski 😉
This is how I see it from afar… sometimes when you are to close to something (doesn’t matter what) it looks different, than when someone looks from afar.

When it works for you… all is just fine 😎 you’re in a flow. Keep going. I do love your photography.

I need to find a balance myself, as I’m multitasking since this week, for a few weeks to come, a lot with work irl. But I will get there… hahaha 🤣
