Lemon Pansy Butterfly (Junonia lemonias)

This butterfly is commonly known as Lemon Pansy Butterfly (Junonia lemonias), a species of butterfly that is found throughout Asia countries. Its dark brown can be seen around the upper surface that is heavily dusted with brownish-yellow scales except for in the distal area of the forewing. That area contains diffused creamy yellow patches. It feeds on the flowers of herbs and small shrubs. Lemon pansy stays under the family of Nymphalidae, in the genus Junonia.
