You have enough time for yourself, but you need to observe deeply and try little less hard.

Today I want to share with you something I decided to share with my Yoga and Meditation students. It seems appropriate, since many times we are so deep in the dizzying vortex of life that we do not realize how deep it is and how we ourselves create the obstacles to get out of it.

And this is because there are always very "good" arguments for not meditating or practicing Yoga often. The favorite of many is: "I'm too busy", but beware, there are many others like: "it's too early", "it's too late", "I'm too hungry", "I'm too tired", "I'm too rested", or the famous "I just don't know how to do it".

We always seem to be "too much" of something to meditate or do yoga.

But please don't make meditation or Yoga a burden or an obstacle. If you really understand that it does you good, that it is highly beneficial for you, try to see it as spending quality time with your mind. Don't fight with yourself, but be reasonable, gentle and firm -which does not mean rigidity-.

True, we may be busy, we may be tired and so on, but instead of deciding not to meditate at all because of these factors, choose to meditate or practice yoga just a little, just for a little while, just for a few minutes, maybe just a few sun salutations. Decide to do it without expectations, as an offering to yourself, a gift you give to yourself, and you may find yourself surprised that you can do much more than you were originally willing.
