This is how you figure out your nature - Writing

“People do not seem to realize that their opinion of the world is also a confession of their character.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson

If you have already come across this quote you might have surely spent some time thinking about this. In case, you have not and only just now you happened to stumble on this, take a minute to think over this. More importantly, let it come to you naturally. If you are someone who has already made a statement at some time along the lines of, "This world is.. ", you already know what you have said and in which case spend a minute in thinking over if you still feel the same or whether your opinion has changed.

Once you do this, think of what Emerson said. Do you think he is right? Do you think your opinion seems to be a match to your character? We are just doing this for our self so we can be honest on this one :)

Let me tell you mine.

So, I had previously never made a comment on the whole world in itself, maybe a bit about a smaller group or certain people but not on the world. so I took a moment, closed my eyes and thought about what I actually felt about this world. Let it come to you naturally just like it did for me. I feel this world is indifferent, it will move on regardless of any event that occurs. That's my opinion. Does it match my character? Yes, it does because I am generally a little indifferent to things that do not connect to me. Not in a selfish way but just indifferent. Maybe a little selfish.
