There are words of words, but...

There are words of encouragement,
those that make us doubt our thinking,
reflect before acting,
slow down steps or speed up.

Words of tender love,
that makes us sigh,
to believe in the possibility,
to try it one more time.

There are words that kill us,
tears our peace,
overthrowing dreams,
making fun of what's unconnected.

Words that make us remember,
to rewind in the past,
to remember why I'm by your side,
trying to tell a story.

There are words that motivate us,
to keep going uphill,
drives us to go on with life,
without fear maybe of what they say.

Words that manipulate us,
has us fixed in its claws,
a false move and tears us apart,
an endless lie.

There are words that are not forgotten,
disguise themselves as hopes,
are called promises,
some false and some true.

Words tattooed on the skin,
beyond it, in the soul,
keeps us present in the will,
letting us know who he is.

There are unique words in life,
those I couldn't tell you yesterday,
the ones I've been waiting to pronounce,
for one tomorrow when I see you again.

Words that can change everything,
for bad or much better,
to start or let go,
to welcome or simply say goodbye.

There are words of words, but there is only one like you.
