The ladder to a final destination
you gave your life for his freedom,
she promised she'd pay you,
but you didn't know what the reality was.
You ended up under metal bars,
between cold walls and loneliness,
still thinking about her and seeing her again,
never thinking it would be any other way.
After a while you were able to breathe,
that pure air that gave you vitality,
your thinking drags you to it,
but in other arms she ended up.
Your heart collapses as does your feeling,
not only did the light of the world come to you,
also the truth hidden in that beautiful face,
pure evil disguised as friendship and love.
Just as power came to her to you it came to you,
revenge or desire to bring her back near,
thoughts that haunt your head,
but without stopping your plan to get close to her.
Power and beauty fall in love with your presence,
he feels what he's never felt before,
in you it clings as if nothing else existed,
his eyes shine to the same as his heart beats for you.
On the way what was desire for closeness,
becomes pure and innate vengeance,
it makes you hurt and cry from the soul,
you try to push her away and stop using her as a weapon.
A doubt arises in your mind,
weapon, power or revenge,
nothing like waiting to love again,
that was a ladder to your mountain.
A ladder that shatters into pieces,
you accelerate with desperation to your extinction,
without knowing what's on the other side,
she followed in your footsteps to die.
For you a ladder to the top of the mountain,
her first love of life,
they both cross paths with different destinations,
they both end up together on the same fateful road.
