Darkness devours fawning mutts.

Fawn - Nov 27, 19
Mary did not mind the other girls giving her evil stares as she fawned over Johnny. She was feeling perfectly blissful and he seemed not to mind. This was the towns yearly get together on the Smiths farm, the moon was full and the people were full of moonshine. Mary enjoyed the small towns, she finds them fascinating, the quaint and sinister ways of the people.

Mary looked over at Johnny and smiled, pleased with her patience. Johnny smiled back.

It felt good to be back in a young body, all those years as his nanny got really depressing.

Comestible - Nov 28, 19
The wind rushing through her midnight locks was just the thing Mary needed. She had taken Johnny away that night after a quickie in the back of her car. A love spell so to speak, but technically definitely a love spell.
"Where are we going, sweetie?" Johnny asks clearly enamoured.

"To meet the Dark Lord pumpkin." Mary says curtly.

"Why? My little rosebud." Johnny asks playfully.

"Because he is going to eat your soul, silly goose." Mary looks at him and he leans forward to give her a peck on the cheek.

"Almost there." She hisses under her breath.

Mutt - Nov 29, 19
Using the love spell on people has always been a last resort for Mary. She hated their dumb faces when under the spell. It was still preferable to have a dumb mutt that obeys over someone having a tantrum over being kidnapped.

Delivering Johnny to the Dark Lord and letting him devour his soul is the last step in a bigger spell. She has had to look after the imbecile since his birth. Frankly having had sex with him felt like incest, but such is life.

Mary took a left off the highway, towards darkness and power.

Incognito - Nov 30, 19
A rundown pub is a strange place to meet the Dark Lord. Not so strange after you think on it and repeat it a few times but still. Mary expected a ghostly figure as big as a building, bigger than this dank pub they were in at the very least.

"Now, Mary. I know this seems odd but I am being incognito." The old addict looking man with chaps on said.

"Why the chaps then? Not very inconspicuous is it." Mary retorted, disgusted at the state of affairs.

"This is a BDSM bar." The Dark Lord replies, smirking.

What's your time frame for getting caught up on all the words?

Interesting story in 99 words - great job! I wish you'd try the 31sentencecontest - I think it's inspiring and magical!

I checked it out now again and scrolled further and saw the numbers. I never understood that contest because I never saw the numbers haha. I figured it was always 1,2,3,4 and yet your posts never followed a 123 order which confused me even more :)

Ha ha that's something I wouldn't have expected, but now that you know how it works, I hope you try it. The way I do it is to try to estimate the number of words in my sentences while writing the way I'd normally write a sentence. Many times I hit it perfectly.

The process of doing this actually works somehow as extra inspiration in writing the story! I know that sounds fictional, but it really does! When I sit down to write one of these, I have such confidence in where I'm going with it. I hope it might work for you as well.

The prompts are always images. Being that you work with graphics, you will probably pull more interesting stuff out of an image than most!
