Our friendly company was among the first who were to see this cosmic beauty, and since among my friends-comrades the representative of the fair sex was only me, then the honor to open the viewing was given to me. I peered into the telescope's eyepiece and jerked away from him. The light from the planet stung my eyes...

I heard Robert's apologetic voice as he handed me the goggles and said, " I'm sorry.":

– Sorry, I forgot that the sight of the earthlings a little differently responds to radiation of the star. To make your eyes comfortable watching bright stars through a telescope, you need to use special glasses. Usually they are not needed, but here is a special case. Even we can't watch this planet for long without special protection.

I nodded my thanks to Robbie for the glasses, put them on, and went back to the telescope, where I stood awestruck with delight for a while. Perhaps such beauty is rarely seen...

Naturally, I was not able to enjoy the contemplation of this miracle for a long time. The line of those who wanted to join the beautiful was long and impatient, and after a few minutes I had to give way to the next. I did so with great regret, and stood aside to await my companions. Soon they, also excited by what they saw, joined me, and we decided to drop into the restaurant and discuss the event.

Despite the weekday evening, there were plenty of people in the hall. We struggled to find a table at the end of the room and had just settled into comfortable armchairs when a waiter came up to us and took our order. We decided not to trifle and for the sake of such a solemn event ordered a hearty dinner, and under it a couple of bottles of the best local wine.

While waiting for the order, vigorously discussed the spectacle seen. Men were able to see in the cosmic beauty something special, not amenable to any of the now known descriptions, in the structure of the body of this object, in the structure of the gases that form the atmosphere of the strange planet, but to say anything definite about its structure and nature without a series of scientific experiments was not possible. I simply admired the General appearance of this planet, which struck me with its beauty.

The Diners who crowded the cafe were also talking loudly, sharing their impressions and arguing until they were hoarse, each defending his or her case.

Once again I managed to admire the unusual phenomenon only once, almost before going on an expedition. We've had too much to do in the last few days, and my eyes, burned by the bright reflection of the celestial body, have had to recover for a while.

Finally, day "X" it is a timely, we said goodbye with their comrades, remaining on base, and have moved in path.
