A Prayer of a Steem Witness

During this time of uncertainty, I pray that we never lose sight of what truly matters.

Today I met a group of people who warmed my heart, who reminded me what it is like to be a community, to hope together, build each other up, have no malice and only acceptance.

I pray for our community, may we be happy for our brothers and sisters in other crypto communities who are prospering, may we not envy their success, but instead revel in their victory as they may one day help lift us up.

During these discussions around the upcoming Hardfork changes, I pray for wisdom for our leaders, may they make choices with their hearts as well as their minds.

I pray the community will trust in their elect to be guided by he who is greater than us, to be inspired to make choices that will lift up our community.

I give thanks that Steem has been a platform which has helped put food on the table for the helpless and the polically oppressed.

I pray that I may have love for those who are hard to love and that they may have love for me when I am hard to love.

May heroes and leaders emerge and band together of single mind to lift up our community and may each one of us find their internal light and let it shine for all to see.

Let us acknowledge that first we need to kneel before we can rise! And when it is time to rise we do so together with arms interlocked in mutual support and respect and shine bright and powerful like seven suns.

In solidarity with our brothers and sisters of the #SEVEN77 initiative who boldly spread the message of our Steem community, I hereby pronounce Amen seven times.

Thanks @fitinfun, it means alot to hear that the timing of you reading the post was so appropriate, when things like that happen it just gives one a sense of comfort that there is someone out there steering positive things into our lives.

Really the lines like we may not envy their success as one day it lift us too. Hope there should not much bad as now people worrying about hard fork. Truly our prayers will be heard and community will rise again.

I'm actually glad, in a way, that we had a little misunderstanding. I came out of that learning a lesson. I try that much harder to remain calm now, when I've always had a short fuse. Came out of that with strength.

I hope you also came out of there with a positive or two. I hope you're doing well and I wish you all the best.

Hey @nonameslefttolouse, that is a really lovely message, I really appreciate it. At the same time I could have chosen my words better not to have set you off, I will learn to be more careful with how I phrase things. Perhaps we met that way for a reason so we can open doors for each other on the Steem platform. Please know you can always count on me to have your back on Steem.
