In a certain way I agree with you that SM is not a typical Card Game where you take turns with your cards, but that doesn't mean the game still makes fun and has plenty of strategy going on before the Battle starts. That said, we all know that SM Team is working hard to make the game everyday better and they have proven to deliver. They also said that they want to enhance Gameplay styles and modes in the Future. So to introduce a turn based rule shouldn't be to complicated. While you are raging about the game you are loosing the sight for the longterm potential of this game. Now everybody is earning DEC and can trade it on Steem Engine for other Tokens or even BTC, EOS and LTC.
What does the market place on Gods Unchained look like? How many active players does Gods Unchained have? Ethereum based games still suffer from Metamask extension, transaction costs and overall not userfriendly account management.

Gas price can suck sometimes on eth, but i dont have to "stake" 1000 $ to play a game like on Steem.
The cool thing about NFT is that they are tokens on your eth adress. You can send, sell or wutever you wanna do with em.
Didnt play Gods Unchained yet, but had some looks at it. I think it really looks cool and very promising... really need to try it. Didnt know it is free2play... so i def gonna try it :)
