Why ? Until you enter consensus, your price feed reports aren't weighted very heavily by the algo. There is zero purpose to posting the same price update repeatedly, it's just noise that does nothing for the network but add congestion.

And despite that, I'd still prefer you to a sockpuppet

Fair point. It's run on a cron job so after the novelty wears of I'll go back to being a normal person and running it hourly.

Thank you, I'm offended. 😂😂😂 Hey, at least I update my Price Feed. @justinsunsteemit should just give me their witnesses active keys and I can run their price feed 😂.

I totally wouldn't disable their witnesses using their active keys, so you can 100% trust me. 😉🧙‍♂️

You can also keep running it every 5 mins, but only write it to the blockchain when the new value differs from the current one. That way you reduce noise while keeping the 5 min update time.
I'd prefer that over hourly updates
