WHO says vaccine will control infection

WHO has written to all member states to join the global vaccine project. The organization says that this program will be effective in delivering the vaccine to those who need it more. The WHO has also warned that it is not right to wait for people to become herd immunity to prevent infection of Covid-19.

WHO chief Tedros Adenom Gabresius said that 20% of people in every country should be vaccinated first, who are most at risk. Conversely if the entire population of select countries is also vaccinated first, then the economy will not be able to come back on track, nor can the infection be controlled.
