I have made a community tank of all my favorite fishes. These are some of my rare finds. I have a super red arowana, short-body tinfoils, flagtails, indonesian tiger fish, and an albino butterfly pleco. I used to have a tigrinus catfish there but it died recently. It really broke my heart, it was a bit pricey and I loved how it looked but that really happens. I did not have him for long, it was really a surprise why it died. The last fish I lost before that one was an 9-year old arowana. I would always feel separataion anxiety when any of my pets die. It does not stop me from having a pet, in fact, I get another to move on from the loss.

This community tank is special to me because it's amazing seeing different varieties of fish living harmoniously together. They are all adults and all aggressive. I gave them a bigger tank so they can all mind their own business. I often just stare at this when I am stressed or when I think of plans for the future. It gives me the peace and the calm I need to get going. This is all I need to have a mental vacation, if you know what I mean.

It's hard to maintain a big tank with a lot of fishes but it's worth it in the end. More than a hobby, this teaches me responsibility and it gets me anchored. I cannot be away too long because there are a lot of fishes waiting for me at home. Like family, they do need my time and support. They aren't just pets to me but they're part of my life and my well-being.
