Weekend Recap

Hi Friends,

I had a good weekend and hope you did as well.

Of course, the weekend was overshadowed by the protests and rioting - the whole situation is sad and I am praying for the country and the world.

On Saturday, the kids and I washed the cars while my wife made some chocolate chip cookies - everyone was happy with that arrangement! In the afternoon, I took Kendra for a ride in my truck which is a special treat as they sit in the front row (it is child safe) - the highlight was seeing some peacocks! I grilled some burgers for dinner and we ate outside as the weather was great.

On Sunday, Jacob and I got up early and went kayak fishing. I will make a separate post on that, but we came back around 2pm and my wife’s parents had come over to hang out so we spent the afternoon with them. We played outside in the hose and rode bikes around before they left around 5pm. We had chicken for dinner and watched a funny show called Holey Moley on ABC, which the kids got a kick out of (its an extreme mini golf completion).

Overall, a good weekend but tomorrow its back to the grind. Not looking forward to seeing how the markets do with the unrest we are currently experiencing!

Thanks for coming by,
Brian

That is great family time. Over my side, the lockdown is ending today on 1st June 2020 and I am returning to work tomorrow. Still with mask and all the social distancing. Outdoor family time over here will not be so soon but we have been indoor for almost two months since lockdown. 😀 Your family time is a precious moment!
