Weekend Recap
Hi Friends,
I had a great weekend and I hope each of you did as well.
Technically, the weekend is not over for me as I have tomorrow off for the President’s Day holiday, so there is one more day.
We drove out to Arizona to spend some time with family. We got to enjoy a lot of fun things - bike rides, canoeing, fishing, nature walks, etc. The fishing was slow so we didn’t spend a lot of time doing it - we caught nothing in two spots we tried.
One highlight was teaching Jacob some gun safety basics and then getting gout and doing some BB gun shooting with him for the first time. He had a good time shooting water bottles and can - it was fun for me too!
Kendra was brave and got a bit wet in the cold water - crazy girl!

What an excellent weekend with family... who can beat bike rides, canoeing, fishing, nature walks... fun time alright. I am reminded of the days when we were kids and my Dad and Mom would teach us gun safety. They both taught us how to shoot. Kendra is just so adorable!
