Vermont police recently spent some of their time destroying a few cannabis plants, 12 of them to be exact. And what a complete waste of time it is for them to engage in this sort of behavior still. Meanwhile, there is a bevy of incredibly harmful substances that continue flowing to the shelves, putting millions at risk of overdose and death. The same cannot be said for cannabis.

You cannot overdose on cannabis.

To this day there hasn't been a single death attributed to cannabis overdose alone. It has long been said that it's rather physically impossible to achieve this feat.

People use cannabis as medicine.

Millions of people around the United States and elsewhere are using this plant for medicine, to improve their symptoms and standard of living. They simply are using it to live in peace.

From the vet who is trying to help his PTSD and anxiety, pain, to the 5 year old child who is suffering from repeated seizures, to the grandma who just wants to get a little comfort from her arthritis in her later life. None of these people deserve to suffer.

Plant growing and use shouldn't make someone a criminal to be locked up.

Why Do We Have To Leave People Suffering and In Pain, Marching Still With A Policy Only Fueled By Ignorance and Small-mindedness ?

Destroying medicine and continuing with a brainless war against a plant, is a battle that harms millions of people, and even one is too many people. The battle doesn't do one shred of good, is being done as a detriment to the community.

While they were busy destroying those plants, how many children were being trafficked? Kidnapped? How many people were being stolen from? How many people needed an officer to help them search for someone who went missing?

Stop wasting time on plants.

It is shameful that this still needs to be discussed and that there are police agencies still prioritizing plants over crimes that have real victims.

Freedom? What freedom? You can't even grow 12 simple plants without being harassed or locked up over it.
