Wednesday Walk - Window Shopping and Night Lights

Here's a bit of window shopping for this #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay

Macy's always does elaborate window decorations each year. Here we have some critter dens themed out for christmas with a snowy landscape above them.

This is a closeup of one of the dens. Various little elements move around as well like the sun ball thing above the snow foxes.

This is a cramped window with a giant fox stuffed in there and a few robot toys. What a spoiled fox getting this year's latest tech.

Here's a closeup of its eyes. Each eye is about the size of a baseball.

Here's a santa rocket sled. This makes it easy to eliminate the reindeer as they wouldn't fit in the display.

The animated portion of this display is the afterburners. Its basically a light with a fan blowing some cut fabric.

This display shows a mish mas of random vintage looking toys that were the hot things back in the day.

Gotta have the reptoid and the bear.

Some even more vintage toys. Tickle me elmo and buzz lightyear.

Here's a robot snowman theme that had a few animated elements.

Santa flies over this acrylic house every now and then.

Here he is zooming by. They his the mechanical element well.

Now for more conventional window displays. Not sure who would want to wear such items, they look like something a skexis would wear in the dark crystal lol.

A mishmash of holiday elements in this display with a tv playing theatrical performances. This must be an ad for a theater nearby showing a Christmas Carol.

Another theater ad for cirque du solei and their holiday performance.

Standard glitzy advertising. Is that the actress from fifth element and resident evil?!

These pigeons could care less about the window displays. Someone tgrew them a bunch of taquitos and they were swarming trying to figure out how to eat them.

Last window display, ho ho ho chocolate from Fannie May.

Now on to the night lights. Each building is themed in red and green this month. The merchandise mart in purple in the back is lit by a giant projector that shows multicolored animations on it.

Here's a closer shot of the Merchandise Mart with a green animation on it.

Now its purple and blue counting down to some other animation.

The old brittanica building is lit with red and green intervals. That's it for this #wednesdaywalk :-)
