Wednesday Walk - Orchid Factory Part 3

Here's a few shots from my walk around a nine acre orchid greenhouse for this #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay

Here's a big showroom somewhere in the middle 9f all the large greenhouses.

The center area had a nice mountain of purple and white orchids. They had a bench there for photos, you should see the line behind me waiting to sit there for a shot.

Lots of intricate species are woven into this wall of flowers along with a few fountains.

Here's my fiance having the time of her life. She loves greenhouses.

A random batch of pitcher plants. These look like some kind of alien plant.

Here's a string of floating orchids.

These orchids are similar to air plants and require no soil. I still have no idea where they get their nutrients... perhaps dust particles in the air?

Now for the boring greenhouse. These are a bunch of cattleya orchids that have huge fragrant blooms. Eventually these guys will bloom into purple and white flowers. There are few way in the back starting to bloom.

This greenhouse just had these big white orchids everywhere.

This greenhouse was full of just purple orchids.

Another exclusive greenhouse with orange and white orchids.
