Short #WednesdayWalk and my first time using SteemPeak

avatar

Hello everyone! I've been meaning to write a post since this morning (it's currently 4:50pm here in Serbia) but I just didn't know where to start and what to say... So it's going to be another random one with a feature of #WednesdayWalk just to lift up my own mood, to be honest, but I hope it does the same for you, lol.

I am finally recovering from a flu. I've been quite lazy these days, my energy levels were poor and the weather was quite bad but all these recent events with Steem kept me "entertained". I would usually watch movies or TV series while being sick but I'm spending most of my time reading through Discord groups, posts and now even Twitter where I have an account (it is my 7 years Twitter anniversary today) but I wasn't really active until recently. I followed some Steem friends to keep up with everything that has been going on. If you want to stay in touch on Twitter too, my username there is nikolina1811.

#WednesdayWalk

My walk today was short since it has been rainy and ocassionally windy. The temperature is actually fine, it's not even that cold especially when there is no wind. I went outside once the rain stopped to get some fresh air, check out on the chickens, give them some food and collect eggs. My walk was very short but I did ended up taking some photos I thought might be interesting to share and somewhat different.

Trying out SteemPeak

After a little bit more than three years since I got involved with Steem and since I started posting using Steemit, I finally switched to another platform. I'm still trying to get used to SteemPeak but so far I like it. To be honest, I think I would stay on Steemit if it wasn't for all this BS with Justin Sun. I did a little bit of research on which platform to use instead and I ended up picking SteemPeak but I'm still open for any suggestions and recommendations.:) Also any advice on keeping our accounts/wallets safe would be appreciated.

Please, if you're reading this and havent's voted for our witnesses, do it now and don't forget to use up all 30 votes you have. You can also give proxy to a witness you trust. Every little bit counts!

Steem community is facing a challenging time but we are still fighting and won't give up. Despite all the differences or disagreements we might have, it's encouraging to see the community united and fighting for the same purpose, same goal and same vision.

That wooden door is enchanting, I can't get enough of rustic things there's just something about them that really catches my eye.

I hope you recover completely from that flu and start feeling the energy come back to you. I'll be sending you some healing energies during meditation :)

I hardly ever pay attention to those rustic details on the doors but today I did and decided to take some photos. Glad you like it!

Thank you so much, I really appreciate that.

Thank you!

It's good to hear that as I was a little bit unsure where to move from steemit. Looks like steempeak was a good choice, I just need some time to get used to it. :)

Hi @nikolina! I am so glad to see that you tried @SteemPeak! It takes a little time to figure out all the 'ins and outs' but it is pretty awesome. If you ever need help with anything on it I suggest checking out their Community page found here: https://steempeak.com/c/hive-175001/created There are a few really good posts there on some of its features and how to use them.

This is a personal comment so please do not think that it is not!

As far as other Steem tools and interfaces goes, I put together this article a while back and it has some really handy things in it. If you do not use the Keychain I highly recommend using it because it makes things both easier and more secure.

Cheers and once again it was nice to connect with you!

Thanks again for all the information Jacob, it has been really helpful!

I'll make sure to check out those links.
I started using Keychain together with SteemPeak.

It's nice to connect with you too! :)

That's good to hear!

I've been getting a few comments here and on Twitter from people who have been also using SteemPeak for a while, giving me positive feedback about the platform and I do like it so far so I guess it was a good choice. :)
