Just Another Beautiful Wednesday Morning in My Home Town !!
Another beautiful day in Byron Bay and my day started of at 6 am with a mild breakfast then of for my run along our beautiful Byron Bay beach by 7 am the sun is already ahead of me but it doesn't matter the breeze from the ocean keeps you a little cooler the heat doesn't bother me with the adrenaline of the amazing surrounding views you forget all about overheating.
The run up to the Cape Byron Lighthouse is tough that really gets the adrenaline going but it's always the best part of my run it reminds me of the Rocky movie running up all them steps but only the views are more sensational and even though , i do this run five times a week i just never get bored of it what keeps me going is to reach the top so i can jump up and down like Rocky...no not really it's the views i adore and the fresh air i breath once i'm high on top of that mountain.
Today i seem to be noticing more people they are starting to get a little more relaxed since a few restrictions have been lifted from covid-19 even surfers are out today and a few more people walking the beach nice to see.
My sister and my niece with her three little girls have come up from Sydney to spend a couple days with me seeing that they are still unable to return to work just yet they decided to escape the city life for a few days and come enjoy the life of Byron Bay it's always nice to have family around.
My wife and my sister are just a great match both green thumbs and love cooking so they can spend the whole day talking about cooking and growing vegetables and they were certainly doing that touring the garden to see how all the herbs were coming along the Mint , Thai Basil , Italian Basil and Arugula all a must in the garden and all looking healthy.
And the tomato plants that we planted a couple weeks ago are already producing nothing better then fresh tomatoes out of your garden.
The day was getting on and the hunger was starting to set in so the ladies started preparing the lunch on the menu was a nice Salmon fillet with Arugula and baby Spinach salad, pampered with Mango laced ice cream just delightful , i told you they were good cooks 😊 👍 😀
The it was a afternoon walk down to the beach to work of those calories and have a play in the sand with the kids , my wife was taking some photos of the sand patterns they looked great and it was a idea for her next canvas nature paintings. So just like that a great day had lots achieved and everyone was happy. 😊

Wow! What a treat to have two excellent cooks in the house!! Those little kids look so cute, they seem to enjoy themselves too. Your herb garden looks great! If I were there, I would probably chew all the herbs! LoL
Definitely a treat that's why i need to go jogging everyday 😆 Very funny happy kids they are around great parents and good environment.
Funny you say that when i am taking care of the garden or just walking around the garden i have a habit of chewing these herb leaves also it's like chewing on a minty bubblegum flavor 👍
Hahaha. The two of us in the garden together, no herbs would be left for cooking! LoL
Haha we would both get slapped in the head by the ladies for eating all there herbs 😆 😆

You live in a beautiful place! Very nice to have such scenery nearby. And lucky to be married to such an excellent cook, that meal looked delicious! I'll bet that run up to the lighthouse is definitely challenging - you deserve a Rocky dance at the top.
Thank you @blueeyes8960 i am very grateful to have such a lovely wife and a great cook at that. The lighthouse house run is always one of my most challenging runs you can either take the flat path or the thousands of steps leading up to the lighthouse depending how i feel on days but both ways difficult as it's all uphill but always worth a Rocky dance...hehe 😀

It is a nice part of Australia i live in as you can see i am a beach person and my wife is the green thumb and does a great job but i also cook the pizza's with the herbs mixed and she cooks some Thai food with the herbs 😊
