Wednesday Walk | La Rosaleda Sur

In the daily review I do on steemit, I found the @tattoodjay post that invites you to join the Wednesday Walk Challenge. I told myself, it is a good reason to break the sedentary lifestyle now that I am retired. I took my phone and an occasional compact camera and without thinking twice, I put on my sportswear, I left with my mind set on looking at the details.

The first stop, once traveled two hundred meters was to photograph in perspective the entrance to the Urbanization. Which is constituted by more thirty double tower of sixteenth floor each.

Where I took the photograph of the residences, a rectangular space where a street market of fruits and vegetables is established weekly, I was struck by the beauty of the image that some shrubs in contrast to the sun were giving me.

The urbanization is connected to a four-channel highway, two for ascent and two for the descent, which is connected with the Pan-American highway, has approximately two kilometers. I started walking accompanied by one of my children, stopping to photograph some species of flora and little birds.

Upon reaching the connection with the Pan-American Highway, there is a small square donated by the Portuguese community and right in front of a shop where they sell some delicious drink of coconuts.

It is always easier to get off than to climb, but without hurry, I enjoy the apparent tranquility of the area, located in the highlands of Miranda, sixteen kilometers from Caracas.

It is a pity that the political situation of the country has disrupted in the recent past, the lap of peace that has always characterized this suburb.

Thank you very much for reading me,

See you next time: Wednesday Walk.
