Walk by the Beach

Since I have been feeling blue these past few days, let me take you to a happy place where I enjoyed my walk by the beach. We were invited by my sister-in-law for an overnight stay at the Pico de Loro Beach & Country Club.

She made all the arrangements and rented a room at one of the residential condominiums within the beach and country club.

On the day of our arrival, we were fortunate that the owner of the condominium was there to welcome us, so we were able to get access to the exclusive beach club.

The place was so lovely that even Mom loved walking by the beach. Oh, did I mention that she loves having photos taken too?

It was such a relaxing experience that thinking about it chases my blues away. I honestly do not mind staying out in the sun. I don't get a chance to do that very often, so I make the most if it when I can.

Of course, I not only enjoyed walking by the beach, I also took a dip in the pool. What can I say? The water was too inviting to resist!

Walking by the beach and swimming were not the only activities that we enjoyed. We also booked one of the cove tours that took us around Hamilo Coast.

As if the day's activities weren't enough, my daughter and I trekked and climbed the stairs to the chapel to catch a glimpse of the sunset.

We woke up early the following day to do more walking and trekking. We couldn't help but stop and admire the beauty of the entire place. We actually had more photos than I could share here.

It's time to explore the public beach and do more beach walking.

My daughter walked ahead. I fell behind to take more photos and admire the view longer. There truly is something about the beach that fixes a tired and weary mind.

That's me sitting for a bit to admire the view before me. It's not often that I get this close to nature. It really does something for the soul.

I'm happy to have gotten the chance to visit Pico de Loro Beach & Country Club. The view was simply breathtaking. True enough, I feel energized by just writing this post. I guess the beach does fix everything. Till our next adventure!
