Wednesday Walk - All four seasons in one day

It is amazing how cloudy morning can change into a nice and sunny day. I usually don't like to walk around in summer. It is way too hot, I get sunburn like in no time and there is not much to shoot. Plants are dry and everything is dusty.
So since the rain stopped and the day was looking good with clear blue sky I took my camera and went for a quick walk on my usual route. The autumn is still here and not all trees lots their leaves yet.

My main goal was to catch some birds, but that was a disappointment. I know there are Herons, white Egrets and Cormorants around. But at the bay I only saw common, lazy seagulls and pigeons.
One lazy Grey Heron too far away to catch even with my zoom lens...

Moving further I entered the town. There is so many decorations now, but the lights were off. I will have to go back when it gets dark one of these days.
But this peculiar ones caught my eye. :p

So we already had autumn and winter right?
I decided to get back home and to take a shortcut through a large lawn and kids playground. And this is who I found!

Hoopoes are so cute :) And this one was just right there on the side of the car park looking for bugs and laves in the grass. I managed to get closer and watched him for a bit. Of course Sparrows... cause they are just everywhere.

Hmm.. looks I did actually catch some birds that day. Just not the ones I wanted.

And now we are entering Spring and Summer!
This yellow Oxalis covers every green bit of lawn in spring. They start early it seems. On some warmer spots they bloom quite abundantly.

Right next to few, quite lost Cape Daises. I think their blooming peak is in March. White and purple open their flowers and attract butterflies and bees. There was a few clearly confused white ones now.

As I was shooting the flowers someone was watching me...
What would a walk be without some kitties? I met two, but this one was more friendly.
She was so shy at first, but later she came out and I even pet her. Such a cute and fluffy kitty!

And as I was reaching home I saw a butterfly :)
Now that was some cool winter day! Even though I am a bit jealous of all those snowy ones some of you guys have....

You sure covered the seasons in this walk, I love that little decoration and some real cool shots even if not what you originally hoped for
