Wednesday Walk ~ A Comparison View

For my #wednesdaywalk I'll be doing a comparison montage of photos taken roughly six months apart and in the same area.

Half of my photos were taken this January and the other half were taken back in July. All photos were taken at the Little Gunpowder Falls Central Area in Baltimore County, Maryland.

I tried to find as close to the same spot as possible which took some time to find matching areas. I decided to put most in collages to save on space and give ya'll a side by side.

Some were easier to spot and match up by looking for a familiar tree or rock.

Others were a lot harder to match up so I had to look for other identifying things in the landscape like this portion of an old downed tree that resembles an upside down chicken head.

This portion of the old downed tree reminds me of an upside down chicken head. Okay, maybe more from a distance but you have to see it! Don't you?! LOL

Back to more trees and rocks then!

Bridges and trees with markings on them were some of the easiest to find matches on as well.

Of course, it would probably help a lot if I didn't take quite so many photos...or maybe it did...hmmm! 🤔

Anyway, I hope you "got a kick" out of my #wednesdaywalk comparison. I love both versions and, lucky for me, the walk I took a week ago was on a mild day. The gray, overcast and mild day turned pretty darn cold after that so I was happy that I was able to get a short walk in.
