Walking the Backstreets of Bangkok !!
Today was a nice day for a walk in Bangkok city a little cooler and more overcast so it meant a little more shade from the sun , i decided heading into the suburban areas again the roads less traveled always have more interest to me seeing how the locals live there daily lives.
I started of walking along the Bangkok canal just to get a look at some of them old wooden homes which have been past down by the family generations some you will find totally run down and even abandon but these ones i saw were pretty much intact and were been looked after.
Even had a guard cat patrolling this old wooden house 😸
This big old brick house not so taken care of actually looks abandon and creepy fit for a horror movie scene.
Walking along the Bangkok canal which stretches for several kilometers through the heart of Bangkok city you will see the old city mixed new city and many abandon houses it what makes this walk along the canal so interesting.
Some parts of the walkway along the canal come to a end and you then need to duct through some small alleyways that we lead you back to the canal or you can choose to stay around the within the inner suburban alleyways and check out the local people's way of living.
At least along these smaller streets you can stop for a break and enjoy some of the street vendors foods nice fried chicken , fried fish with some veggies all home cooked just the best and cheap as 😊
You never go hungry walking the streets or alleyways of Bangkok streets vendors everywhere and always a place to sit down and enjoy with a nice cold beer.
I was noticing a lot of pretty good graffiti on walls around these local areas locals i would say practicing and making the alleyways look much brighter and inviting.
The over hanging electrical wiring never surprise me messy as always and you really need to look out for the broken live low hanging wires , i really feel sorry for the electricians in this country 🙀
As i was walking out of the alleyways back to the main road to take the Skytrain home , i noticed this park and the walls within this park were fully painted with graffiti art unfortunately it had gotten late and i had to head home but i will go and check this park out on my next walk but here is a couple of shots i did take just walking pass.
And on my way to the Skytrain a couple naught cats here having a naught play and a police man on duty with his can of redbull beside him 🤣
Hope you all had a great @wednesdaywalk till next week you all take care and stay safe 😊

The cables - how do they know which cable goes to which household. Amazing! :-)
That has always made be wonder also no idea it's a jungle out there 🤣
Looks as tough things are starting to become a more lively again with more vendors, boats on the canals, bicyclists, and people in the streets.
Thank you for highlighting some of the artist expression in the form of graffiti! I'm a big fan! Not so much for the tangled electric wires knotted up dangerously overhead. Yikes!!!
Have a terrific weekend, Uncle Sambucca! @bigsambucca🔆
Thanks @ninahasskin it is starting to feel and look like Bangkok again and i am enjoying the vibes.
Yeah those over hanging wires to need to look out for very dangerous in all respects.
And you have a lovely weekend also @ninaahaskin 😊 🌞
That local life looks really cool i can't wait to get to Thailand next year that's the sort of things i like to be seeing and taste all them street foods.
