Winter Washer Fluid Warning

avatar

20/20 hindsight I "probably" never should have bought this. Looking back I think I thought that while this was summer blend it was just not designed for real cold temps or I might not have even read the bottle and saw it was summer and only for above freezing. I did not realize that apparently it's basically colored water. On the bright side my windshield will be very clean as long as it doesn't freeze since I need to run this out. lol

Until today I thought pretty much all washer fluid had at least a little antifreeze in it.

Some of the other purchasers were also not happy. I think I will try and return my fluid and complain. I don't think this washer fluid should be sold in my northern state.

I mean really dude if that summer formula label was any bigger it'd bite you in the face.

Whatevs. I probably didn't even read the label. I didn't know I was buying blue water. Seems like even windex would have a lower freeze point since it has ammonia.

Go over to Walmart, they have the cheapest formula's, for less than fifty cents extra you can even buy the formula that helps dissolve the frost on the windshield.

You know most gas stations only use water, I was surprised to learn that.
