Shooting over Halloween

It’s been a long day today, with two filming jobs back to back - which were actually both Halloween based shoots.

The first was shooting at 9am with local(ish) railway line called Worth Valley Railway where they had a special Halloween event running where two steam trains hosted spooky stories and activities for children and families along with wizard classes.
It ran from Oxenhope to Keighley, in West Yorkshire, UK.

I spent some time on that job hanging out of the window getting cool shots of steam coming off of the rails.

It was brilliant.

The trains were decorated and had special performing staff who acted like Harry Potter teachers. (of which I took phots of but have plenty of video clips of!)
The kids loved it all and I managed some daft little interviews with the kids who were up for it.

The second job of the day happened tonight at 9pm, at my local rock venue called The Parish.

It played host to a fantastic Black Sabbath tribute band called Ozzbest - whom I was there to shoot a short promo for.

I got tons of great live shots of the band in full energy mode, as the packed out room built with energy.

I look forward to starting work on the Ozzbest edit - it should be a lot of fun choosing the best moments.

For now, this Halloween comes to a close and a new SPUD starts tomorrow.
I may do some powering up - but only a token amount, nowhere near as much as my mammoth power up from last time!
