Best Seeds Bars ? protein bars - recipe included

avatar

I love to make food, I mean really who doesn't love food right? Well I mean we all should love food that is cruelty-free and that no being has suffered from.

Protein bars

These are some of the best bars I have ever tried homemade or store-bought, but I mean who really even wants to eat any packaged garbage.

The ingredients are so versatile in this type of recipe that you can almost add seed or nut or cereal you can think of but I am going to list and show the ingredients I used. They are as follows

  1. 2 cups dated
  2. 2 tbs coconut oil
  3. 2 cups nut butter
  4. 1/4 Cup Chocolate Chips
  5. 1/4 Cup Hemp Seeds
  6. 1/4 Cup Chia Seeds
  7. 1/2 Cup Pumpkin Seeds
  8. 1/2 Cup Puffed Quinoa
  9. 1/2 Cup Sunflower Seeds
  10. 1 Cup Rolled Oats

As I said you can add different seeds and nuts maybe even some dried fruit to it and change the taste a bit.

To start you are going to want to use a food processor and just put the 2 cups of dates in and just put it on high till you get your self a ball of mushed-up dates.

After you have you done that you will take the 2 Tablespoons of coconut oil and add it to a medium saucepan and turn it to medium heat, I normally give this a couple of minutes and I add my date Ball to it and mash it all down with a fork. After the coconut oil has melted you can then add the peanut butter or any kinda nut or seed butter you would like to use.

From this point, I normally mix and mush till the oil and peanut butter is nice and melt and the dates have no pieces left in it. Now you can take it off the heat and you can start to add the other ingredients minus the oats, I like to start with the chocolate chips as that gives them time to melt.

Now that you have added in the seeds and quinoa it is time to give all that a mix and get it nice and covered in all the peanut butter, At this point, it should look nice and runny still it is time to add in the oats, I normally like to add a half cup at a time as it can get harder to mix when you dump the whole cup in.

Now that you have made your self some of the best protein bars you can ask for you can go and stop eating that packaged crap that is killing you.

You’ve been visited by @trucklife-family on behalf of Natural Medicine.
This are very similar to energy balls that I make, packed with seeds and instead of chocolate chips I just add cacao and they taste great, which I imagine these do too. I agree 100% that we need to make these things instead of buying them, they are so much more nutritious. Thanks for sharing your recipe xx
