Atom Collector Records Monday Selection

The following tracks are a selection of the fantastic independent musicians that use AtomCollectorRecords.com:

Impact (Massive Mix) by @virtualex-steem/

I wanted to finish a new EP for Spotify this year (still want to) and planned to
include two or three older tracks. I thought one of my first tracks called "Impact" would be a nice fit and so I started doing a new master for Spotify.

While I was at it, I started adding a few notes here and there and here we've got
the "Massive Mix" :-). Enjoy!

It Really Doesn`t Matter by ENILSounds

Nyertun - Danze by @beats4change

Njertun - > The beating of the drums, the stamping and the wild yells last until the night comes. It is a spectacle of the elemental forces.

Ohhh Danze Danze

Heaven Right Now by Gerontius

The Grunderhunter (Slight Return) by Mysterioso

This one was a painful gestation. I completely rewrote it three times and rerecorded it twice.
I'm starting to see the full extent of my embarrassment about singing. I need a soundproof room!
But then, a year later!
New rhythm guitar parts for the verses, a complete new bass part, a completely new drum module and a new mix. Playing through an amp again is like falling in love with guitar all over again!

Depeche Mode - The Things You Said (Constellation Lyra Remix) by Constellation Lyra

See-Saw by @unitedduality/

My collaboration song with Elizabeth Everts.

LYRICS

Freeze coming on tonight
She's here to say
Tracing leaves dreams

Alight
To find your way to this

See-saw
See-saw
Until the dusk came on

Ceased to be wrong or right
I'm here to play
Lacing weaves gleams

In flight
Did you find your way to this

See-saw
See-saw
Until the dusk came on

LYRICS

NIGHT MAN
Who took the fun out of wild wild women?
Who took the gas out of the attack?
Who played footsie with the Gray Lady?
Who brings me dinner in a paper sack?

I ask you who was it, who was it
Who was it, who?
Was it you, was it you, was it you
Was it you?
I ask you who was it, who was it
Who was it, who?
Was it you, was it you, was it you
Was it you?

Who took the wings off my favourite plane?
Who took the wheels off my kit car crane?
Who asked the judge could he boogie-woogie?
Who gives me dreams and asks why should he?

I ask you who was it, who was it
Who was it, who?
Was it you, was it you, was it you
Was it you?
I ask you who was it, who was it
Who was it, who?
Was it you, was it you, was it you
Was it you?

Who took the snakes out of the snake pit?
Who took the fun out of the fastest gun?
Who played guitar in a hot rod car?
Who set the controls for the bracket race run?

I ask you who was it, who was it
Who was it, who?
Was it you, was it you, was it you
Was it you?
I ask you who was it, who was it
Who was it, who?
Was it you, was it you, was it you
Was it you?

Performers:
PJ Speed – vocals
Zak Black – guitars, vocals
Maxx Damage - bass
Sven Stiglund - drums

Fun facts:
This song is in the key of F#m.
We used a load of out-takes of Pete when he was recording his vocal parts to make a track of odd outbursts of speech, then added the background conversation hubbub.
Guitar parts are played on Nicodemus.

LYRICS

WAY TO GO
Don’t eat the turtles they’re much too hard
Stick to the frogs that you find in the yard
What you see at the bottom of the well
Is just small ads there to buy and sell
Souls and faces and body parts
Coltrane jazz and modern art

Way to go, way to go, way to go, way to go
Way to go, way to go, way to go, way to go
Way to go, way to go, way to go, way to go
Way to go, way to go, way to go, way to go

Cork up the bottle save all the wine
The grapes are good on your outhouse vine
What you do to get through the day
Keep it secret or they’ll take it away
Cars and keys and metal snow
It’s all part of the way to go

Way to go, way to go, way to go, way to go
Way to go, way to go, way to go, way to go
Way to go, way to go, way to go, way to go
Way to go, way to go, way to go, way to go

Ethical men, fish in the pond
Fishing for games and they’re not wrong
What you need is a king-high win
Keep it closer than you keep your skin
Patterns and palaces and moonlight show
It’s all part of the way to go

Way to go, way to go, way to go, way to go
Way to go, way to go, way to go, way to go
Way to go, way to go, way to go, way to go
Way to go, way to go, way to go, way to go

Way to go, way to go, way to go, way to go
Way to go, way to go, way to go, way to go
Way to go, way to go, way to go, way to go
Way to go, way to go, way to go, way to go
