Holis!, mi fin de semana comenzó algo ajetreado, lleno de diligencias, pues el sábado en la mañana como es costumbre me levanté temprano a sacar a mi Susy Amor a orinar y luego de eso, me volví a acostar pero no a dormir sino a revisar el celular, pues el viernes me dormí temprano y tenía unos cuantos mensajes pendientes, entre esos mensajes estaba uno de una vecina del sector donde vivo, que me indicaba que debíamos ir a retirar unos mercados de verduras que habíamos encargado, así que desperté a @isamorales para que nos arregláramos e ir a buscarlos.

Hello!, my weekend started a bit busy, full of errands, because on Saturday morning as usual I got up early to take my Susy Amor to pee and after that, I went back to bed but not to sleep but to check my cell phone, because on Friday I slept early and I had a few messages pending, among those messages was one from a neighbor of the area where I live, which indicated that we should go pick up some vegetable markets that we had ordered, so I woke up @isamorales so we could get ready and go get them.

Como estábamos algo apuradas, no nos daba tiempo de hacer el desayuno por lo que llame a la misma vecina donde debíamos retirar las cosas para encargarle unos pastelitos de yuca y desayunar con eso.

Since we were in a hurry, we didn't have time to make breakfast, so I called the same neighbor where we had to pick up the things to order some cassava cakes and have breakfast with that.

Rápidamente nos arreglamos y salimos a buscar los mercados, eran cuatro (04), uno para nosotras, dos para una compañera de trabajo y el ultimo para mi madrina, como pesaban bastante (13 kilos aproximadamente cada uno), decidimos hacer varios viajes, tomando primero el de nosotras, dejándolo en el apartamento, luego fuimos a buscar los dos de mi compañera de trabajo y decidimos llevárselos de una vez a su casa (ya que vive cerca), así que sacamos la moto y nos fuimos a eso.

We quickly got dressed and went out to look for the markets, there were four (04), one for us, two for a coworker and the last one for my godmother, as they weighed quite a lot (approximately 13 kilos each), we decided to make several trips, first taking ours, leaving it in the apartment, then we went to get the two of my coworker and decided to take them at once to her house (since she lives nearby), so we took the bike and went to that.

Al regresar los pastelitos ya estaban listos, pedimos también masato (una bebida típica a base de arroz) pero no había 😔, así que tomamos los cuatro pastelitos, el mercado que nos quedaba y nos fuimos al apartamento nuevamente. Desayunamos y la verdad estaban sabrosos, eran rellenos de carne con arroz y venían con un picadillo delicioso.

When we returned the pastries were ready, we also asked for masato (a typical rice-based drink) but there was none 😔, so we took the four pastries, the remaining market and went back to the apartment. We had breakfast and the truth they were tasty, they were filled with meat with rice and came with a delicious hash.

Pasteles de Yuca

Luego de desayunar salimos y decidimos pasar por el CNE (Consejo Nacional Electoral) con el fin de realizar el cambio de residencia, puesto que ya llevamos poco más de un año en nuestra dirección actual. Fue un proceso rápido, solo tuvimos una persona por delante y el muchacho que nos atendió fue muy amable.

After breakfast we went out and decided to go to the CNE (National Electoral Council) in order to make the change of residence, since we have been at our current address for a little over a year. It was a quick process, we only had one person in front of us and the guy who attended us was very kind.

Llegamos al negocio de mi madrina para dejarle allí lo que llevábamos y aprovechamos para hacer unas compras y hablar un rato. Nos brindó una crema de leche, una bebida muy sabrosa, espesa y dulce, no sé con certeza que tendrá la mezcla pero es muy rica, lamentablemente no pude tomarle foto pues no llevaba mi teléfono conmigo en ese momento 😞.

We arrived at my godmother's store to leave what we were carrying and we took the opportunity to do some shopping and talk for a while. She gave us a milk cream, a very tasty drink, thick and sweet, I do not know for sure what the mixture has but it is very rich, unfortunately I could not take a picture because I did not have my phone with me at that time 😞.

Hablando con mi madrina y un amigo (que la ayuda en el negocio), él nos contó sobre los Rolls de helado, que eran muy ricos y valían la pena comerlos, cosa que nos generó curiosidad puesto que no nos habíamos animado a probarlos.

Talking with my godmother and a friend (who helps her in the business), he told us about the ice cream rolls, that they were very tasty and worth eating, which made us curious since we had not dared to try them.

Al salir de donde mi madrina ya eran la 1:30 pm y aun teníamos otros pendientes por hacer, así que nos dirigimos hacia una zona de la ciudad que se llama Barrio Obrero, para comprar unos medicamentos en farmatodo, como es costumbre había bastante gente, así que allí nos demoramos al rededor de media hora.

When we left my godmother's house it was already 1:30 pm and we still had other things to do, so we headed to an area of the city called Barrio Obrero, to buy some medicines in farmatodo, as usual there were quite a lot of people, so we stayed there for about half an hour.

Aprovechamos y también hicimos unas compras que teníamos pendientes por allí cerca, luego de desocuparnos vino la gran pregunta.. ¿Qué hacemos ahora?, a lo que respondí, pues no sé, será irnos para la casita y cuando comenzamos a tomar la vía, @isamorales, comenta que tenía ganas de comer helado, así que sin pensarlo le digo que se desvíe y le indico que vía tomar.

We took advantage of the opportunity and also did some shopping that we had pending nearby, after we left, the big question came... What do we do now, to which I answered, I do not know, we will go to the house and when we started to take the road, @isamorales, commented that he felt like eating ice cream, so without thinking I tell him to turn off and tell him which way to take.

Llegamos a una heladería la cual hemos visto por redes sociales, al llegar allí no fue como lo esperábamos por lo que @isamorales sugiere que vayamos al sitio que nos habían recomendado en la mañana y nos fuimos para allá.

We arrived at an ice cream shop which we had seen on social networks, when we got there it was not as we expected so @isamorales suggests we go to the place that had been recommended to us in the morning and we went there.

Rolls de Helado, el protagonista de este fin de semana, el lugar es pequeño pero super coqueto, decorado de una manera muy linda y cuenta con una excelente atención, pedimos un helado de cheesecake para las dos, su precio en dólares fue de $2.6, en bolívares 8.800.000 y en pesos colombianos 9.000.

Rolls de Helado, the protagonist of this weekend, the place is small but super coquettish, decorated in a very nice way and has an excellent service, we ordered a cheesecake ice cream for the two of us, its price in dollars was $2.6, in bolivars 8.800.000 and in Colombian pesos 9.000.

El helado estuvo delicioso, de verdad que para dos personas el tamaño que pedimos está bien, de repente en la foto no se ve muy grande pero si lo era, es cremoso, los ingredientes se sienten de buena calidad y es una experiencia de sabores muy agradable, a donde sin duda alguna volveríamos a ir.

The ice cream was delicious, really for two people the size we ordered is fine, suddenly in the photo it doesn't look very big but it was, it is creamy, the ingredients feel of good quality and it is a very pleasant experience of flavors, where we would definitely go again.

Llegamos a casa, guardamos las compras realizadas, hicimos almuerzo y a descansar, por fin terminamos de ver Lucifer y aunque la temporada no estuvo tan interesante como lo esperaba sus últimos capítulos fueron muy emotivos y el final de temporada sin duda alguna superó mis expectativas y salvó el resto de la temporada.

We finally finished watching Lucifer and although the season was not as interesting as I expected, the last chapters were very emotional and the season finale certainly exceeded my expectations and saved the rest of the season.

1am y escuchamos a Kara Melissa entrar al apartamento por la ventana de un brinco y realizando un sonido extraño por lo que prendemos la luz para ver lo que sucedía y sorpresa 😲 Kara atrapó un ratón en la calle y se lo trajo a casa para jugar 😫, quedé paralizada, simplemente no me podía mover, veía desde la cama como ella lo soltaba, el corría y ella lo volvía a atrapar, mi preocupación era simple, que se le escapara y se convirtiera en el nuevo integrante de esta familia 😭.

1am and we heard Kara Melissa enter the apartment through the window with a jump and making a strange sound so we turn on the light to see what was happening and surprise 😲 Kara caught a mouse in the street and brought it home to play 😫, I was paralyzed, I just could not move, I watched from the bed as she released it, he ran and she caught him again, my concern was simple, that he escaped and became the new member of this family 😭.

@isamorales es la valiente de la casa, así que ella salió del cuarto, abrió la puerta de la casa y mandó a salir a Kara con todo y su ratón, pero ella no quería salir, quería seguir jugando en casa con él, un par de regaños y Kara toma con su boca a su presa y sale corriendo.

@isamorales is the brave one in the house, so she left the room, opened the door of the house and sent Kara out with everything and her mouse, but she didn't want to leave, she wanted to keep playing at home with him, a couple of scoldings and Kara grabs her prey with her mouth and runs out.

No se imaginan el susto que pasamos...

You can't imagine the scare we had...

Domingo; decidimos no salir, quedarnos en casa sin duda es uno de nuestro planes favoritos, de nuevo desperté temprano para sacar a Susy y luego dormimos un poco más. Finalmente despertamos tarde a eso de las 10:30am, me levanto a hacer desayuno y sorprendo a @isamorales con una perfecta tortilla de huevo con jamón, queso y tocineta, acompañado por supuesto de unas arepitas y un delicioso café ☕ . Últimamente he mejorado en la cocina, hace un tiempo atrás no hubiese podido hacer una tortilla de huevo sin que ésta se me despedazara.

Sunday; we decided not to go out, staying home is definitely one of our favorite plans, again I woke up early to take Susy out and then we slept some more. Finally we wake up late around 10:30am, I get up to make breakfast and surprise @isamorales with a perfect egg omelet with ham, cheese and bacon, accompanied of course by some arepitas and a delicious coffee ☕ . Lately I've been getting better in the kitchen, a while ago I wouldn't have been able to make an omelet without it falling apart.

Después de un desayuno de campeones sólo hemos estado acostadas, perezoseando y compartiendo en familia.

After a breakfast of champions we have just been lying down, lazing around and sharing as a family.

La verdad es que no he probado los pastelitos de yuca, pero se van más que interesantes. Y es bueno saber que mis gatos no son los únicos que creen que traer sus presas a la casa es una buena idea XD
