WRC calendar for season 2021 to have only 10 events?!

We live in a strange and difficult times and at the moment it is better to think about health and our lives and people around of us then about the sport we like much.

Some sport activities started all around the Europe and today we have in our country first hillclimb race of the season. People around are so excited because we are normally fans for it, nothing else.

What about top of the sport?

European Hillclimb Championship has been cancelled for 2020. World Rally Championship season had three events so far - Monte Carlo Rallye, Sweden and Mexico.

Lots of the rallies has been postponed or cancelled so FIA and WRC promoter look for events around Europe to fill in and to conclude season as valid.

Some rallies are almost for sure in and that are Ypres Rally in Belgium, Estonia Rally and potentially Liepaja Rally in Latvia.

What about next season?!
Manufacturers want 10 events calendar because of the cost cutting of bad stats at market sales and development of 2022 hybrid generation of WRC car.

FIA and promoter want 12 calendars but they will kinda agree with 11. I guess they will have to go with 10 as manufacturers want because they can't afford to lose another after Citroen pulled out at the end of last season.

Look for our health and the rest will come easily...
