Onboard rally video of the day - Ingram with Škoda at ERC Rally Hungary

Last year's edition of Rally Hungary, which is part of European Rally Championship, was one of the best rallies I saw in years.

I am rarely impressed with some rally and this time I was really impressed. Maybe it is because the surface of the rally is really muddy and dirty with lots of rain.

Last season it was so wet that the organizers had to cancel some stages because the drivers were protesting of the danger in some places because of the standing water.

I don't see the reason for protest because rally sport is known in the world with roads with all kind of surfaces and every condition.

Chris Ingram won the European Rally Championship crown last season without a single win. I guess he deserved with the hard work from previous seasons, and especially driving the R2 cars.

He wasn't preset this season because of the lack of budget but that came to an end.

Maybe some better days are coming for Ingram and the whole rallying world, including me.
