Developing a character: Burg the dark cyclops.

Desarrollando un personaje: Burg el ciclope oscuro.

Greetings my dear friends readers, today I bring you another dark character of this universe of shadows that I am starting to build, and today I bring you the guardian of the gates of chaos the unbreakable "Burg the dark cyclops".

Saludos mis queridos amigos lectores, el día de hoy traigo otro personaje oscuro de este universo de las sombras que estoy empezando a construir, y hoy les traigo al guardián de las puertas del caos el inquebrantable “Burg el ciclope oscuro”.

Previously I have realized Verdomme and Gruwel, important part of the army of chaos that will be in charge of the conquest of middle earth in "the Great day" but... not only soldiers and strategic elements are needed, it is also needed something to protect the hosts of any attack that occurs to the white wizards or the fairies of the eternal forest and it is in this context where the imposing Burg enters in.

Anteriormente he realizado a Verdomme y a Gruwel, parte importante del ejército del caos que se encargara de la conquista de la tierra media en “el Gran día” pero… no solo se necesita soldados y elementos estratégicos, también se necesita algo que proteja a las huestes de cualquier ataque que se le ocurra a los magos blancos o a las hadas del bosque eterno y es en este contexto donde el imponente Burg entre en escena.

Burg is an extremely powerful entity and due to his imposing strength and size he is capable of protecting the entrance to the gates of chaos without the need of anyone's help. This imposing being's only armor is a helmet, which rather than protecting, what it does is prevent Burg from losing control and destroying everything in its path. His body is half snake, and has extremely powerful claws, covered with strong toxins that would kill almost any living being, as it is to note is part cyclope and his only eye has a supernatural glow which allows him to see through any armor, shield or stone, so he can never be taken by surprise.

Burg es una entidad sumamente poderosa y por su imponente fuerza y tamaño es capaz de proteger la entrada de las puertas del caos sin necesidad de ayuda de nadie. Este imponente ser, tiene como única armadura un yelmo, que más que proteger, lo que hace es prevenir que burg pierda el control y destruya todo a su paso. Sus cuerpo es mitad serpiente, y posee garras sumamente poderosas, cubiertas de fuertes toxinas que matarían a casi cualquier ser viviente, como es de notar es parte ciclope y su único ojo cuenta con un brillo sobrenatural el cual le permite ver atreves de cualquier armadura escudo o piedra, así que jamás se le puede tomar por sorpresa.

The creative process was really pleasant, and I took as inspiration the shape of the titanite demon from dark soul (although Burg is a little more lethal ;) . I will leave you the development of the illustration with an animated Gif which summarizes the 8 hours it took me to finish it, also I leave each of the images so you can appreciate the development in more detail.

El proceso creativo fue realmente placentero, y tome como inspiración la forma del Demonio de titanita de dark soul (aunque Burg es un poco más letal ;) . Les dejare el desarrollo de la ilustración con un Gif animado el cual resume las 8 horas que me tomo terminarlo, además les dejo cada una de las imágenes para que aprecien el desarrollo con más detenimiento.

I hope this new character was to your liking, little by little I will be creating beings of this mythical land and on the way, I will try to discover what are the events that will come in "the Great day".
