It was late and he knew the bar would be closing soon. He didn't want to leave but he knew he couldn't stay here. At home all that waited for him was memories. Bowls and bowls full of memories. It was a dreadful day as he has lost his dearest friend. Man's best friend. Today, had to say goodbye. That was around 11 am. He arrived at the bar at around 1 o'clock and the rest of his day didn't matter at all.
Finally, outside he was in no condition to drive and he pulled out his phone to call a taxi. No lights, no sounds, no power. He thought he could just sleep in his car, why not, only a few more hours until the sun comes up and he knows if he drives now he will most likely fall asleep.
As he sat down the twisted memory of the day flashed before his eyes one last time of the tires screeching, his best friend cowering and then... he fell asleep.

I always enjoy doing these but for some reason as soon as the timer starts my mind sometimes goes to a place that is a little darker than needed. No idea why...
