Mini homemade donuts!

I have a waffle maker that comes with extra plates for baking mini donuts and I wanted to try themt today. They didn't come out exactly as I expected, the recipes I found on the internet were basically waffle batters, but at least they tasted nice in the end.

Ingredients

• 1,5 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 125 gr melted butter
• 1 vanilla
• 1,5 teaspoon baking powder
• a pinch of salt
• orange zest (that was my touch)

I also melted some milk chocolate with a couple tablespoons of milk in the microwave and dipped my mini bites in the chocolate mixture...

They were nice, definitely NOT DONUTS, but mini waffle bites with a chocolate sauce on top...

Not sure I'll be using these plates again. The waffle plates are way better and they save me so much time...
