what is the faith of the thief on the cross written in Luke 23:42-43 part 3

Luke 23:39-42 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

That's how the thief confess his faith and that faith is sufficient for him because he would die in less than an hour but for us that we are not crucified, we have to do good work. Only faith cannot save us

2 Peter 1:5-9 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

If we see more than what is in front of us, then we are not blind, we have to do what is more than faith. If you are going to live more days, you have to add obedience of the Lord to your faith

1 Corinthians 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Love is greater than faith and faith must not be absent in Love

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
