RE: Movie review: Mortal Kombat (2021)

I'm cautiously optimistic about enjoying this. I don't need it to be the best movie ever, or even a great film. I just need it not to suck. The original Mortal Kombat was so ridiculously enjoyable and fun, and Annihilation utterly pissed on all of that goodwill. If Mortal Kombat 2021 doesn't suck, I'll be perfectly satisfied. And, from what I'm reading here, it sounds like it does pretty much what it needs to do, maybe wraps up a bit early, and then goes home.

I'm fine with that, and I can't wait to force my wife to see it with me! :D
