When is Christmas again? Please give me back my Henckel knives!
Wann ist wieder Weihnachten? Bitte gibt mir meine Henckel Messer wieder zurück.
When you move, you have to leave a lot of things behind. When I moved to Mexico I had to give up my beloved Henckel knives. I couldn't just put them in my hand luggage and board the plane.. the "authorities" always want to bend me over. wtf
Wenn man umzieht muss man viele Dinge hinter sich lassen. Ich musste bei meinem Umzug nach Mexiko meine geliebten Henckel Messer abgeben. Ich konnte die ja nicht einfach ins Handgepäck packen und das Flugzeug besteigen.
When I arrived in Mexico, many things had to be bought new. Of course, you still have no idea where to buy certain things. So the first knife that I found in the store, I basically just had to buy that one. Total crap. I hoped that it would only be temporary, but unfortunately I have to cut my vegetables and fruits with these blunt knives for far too long. It's frustrating. It can ruin the fun of cooking!
Als ich in Mexiko ankam, mussten viele Dinge neu gekauft werden. Natürlich hat man noch keine Ahnung wo man am besten gewisse Dinge einkauft. Also wurde das erstbeste in den Einkaufswagen gelegt. Hauptsache man hat es erst mal. Ich hoffte, dass es nur vorübergehend sein wird, aber leider muss ich mit diesen stumpfen Messern schon viel zu lange mein Gemüse und Obst schneiden. Echt frustrierend. Das kann einem den Spaß am kochen ruinieren.
Here's a tip to all men. If you want to make your wife happy, then buy HER all of the right tools too, for stress-free, happy cooking. You need tools, and so does she. The old cliché that says that we women DON'T want that kind of stuff for christmas is WRONG! :)
Hier ein Tip an alle Männer. Wenn Ihr Eure Frau glücklich machen wollt, dann kauft Ihr die richtigen Utensilien für stressfreies, glückliches kochen. Das Klischee, dass wir es nicht wollen, stimmt nicht. ;)
