My entry to the "My first ever HIVE BLOG POST challenge"
Participating in the activities of this great community has been a balm to my life and my heart. In the real world I have a very complex life with many difficulties. But here, day by day, I have been able to dream, imagine and create a better and kinder world, for me and my close environment.
When I discovered the cryptographic world I was encouraged to show my works in film, photography and literature. I can say that I have had several stages of publication (for different reasons). To travel to my first publication is to look at everything I have learned during this time.
After waiting for several days for my keys and permissions to publish, it finally came. I had days reviewing documents and making efforts of my memories. I was, that weekend, in the city of Carúpano and had my laptop.
I had almost finished an essay about my tutor and friend David Suarez, a great writer of film scripts from my country.
I published it in Spanish. It has many technical flaws in terms of quoting and presentation aesthetics. But I am very proud of what I wrote there.
A summary of that publication can be the following: it is an evocation of David Suárez while he was dictating a workshop on film scriptwriting in the city of Cumaná, in which I participated. The essay covers Cumaná and several emblematic characters.
The title of this publication is a metalinguistic association of David's screenplay "The Black Sheep".
I like two concepts that I left there.
"...reality, in fiction cinema, cannot be exposed as it's. We can represent it, we can imagine it, recreate it, falsify it, but not portray it as it was or is because reality is only itself.”
"Picasso's Guernica is not and does not replace the Spanish Civil War. Picasso isn't only Guernica. But Guernica can be the reflection of its author's readings of an event in Spain, ... Each spectator, on seeing it, can create his own Spain, his own War, his own Picasso;..."
My first ever HIVE BLOG POST
Wow... what a great tribute I made to this Master of Social Cinema!
