Travel around the world Nr. 13 Wissembourg Deu/Eng

Hallo liebe Hiver,

Euer Al

Hello dear Hiver,
today's edition of my blog is about Wissembourg just over the French border. For us just a little day trip or weekend trip 100 kilometers away.
But it's always a great experience.

Wonderful architecture, extremely delicious food, and there's always a castle or two along the way. In addition, you can take home excellent French food and especially wine.

It always amazes me that you are only 1 kilometer away from Germany but in Alsace you immediately sink completely into France. Wissembourg is crisscrossed by streams and canals, has an imposing church that you can visit and on every corner a restaurant with traditional delicacies.
You can also take a tour on the Bimmelbahn, a very good way to get a good overview.

The city is surrounded by a medieval city wall and large parks. And if you are here in Wissembourg, you should also make a detour to the castle Drachenstein which was built into the massive rock. Simply incredible and extremely worth seeing.

Wissembourg is always worth a trip and offers a lot to see for 2-3 days. We will definitely come back and enjoy the French way of life.

I hope you are excited about the beautiful pictures from Wissembourg that watched above.

Hope you had fun and see you next time here on my blog.
Yours Al

Old architecture with stunning views indoors and outdoors

Quaint wrapped up into a word with loads of history, would love to see places like this once again and taste the food, feel the surroundings.
