Hallo liebe Hiver,

herzlich willkommen zu einer neuen Folge meiner Tour um die Welt. Heute gibts ein paar schöne Bilder von unserem ersten Holland Urlaub aus 2019. Wir waren im schönen Bloemendaal Aan Zee an der Küste in Nord Holland.

Hello dear Hiver,

welcome to a new episode of my tour around the world. Today there are a few beautiful pictures from our first Holland vacation from 2019. We were in the beautiful Bloemendaal Aan Zee on the coast in North Holland.

Direkt am Strand gelegen, waren wir in einem tollen Feriendorf mit dem Namen Qurios. Wirklich schöne Ferienhäuser, zwar nicht groß aber mit echtem Abenteuerfeeling. Sogar mit eigener Hängematte. Die Kinder waren, nur über eine Leiter erreichbar direkt unter dem Dach untergebracht, was sie extrem cool fanden.

Located directly on the beach, we were in a great vacation village called Qurios. Really nice cottages, not big but with a real sense of adventure. Even with its own hammock. The children were, only accessible via a ladder directly under the roof, which they found extremely cool.

Wir hatten in diesem Jahrhundertsommer natürlich auch riesen Glück mit dem Wetter und konnten jeden Tag Muscheln am Strand suchen. Hunderte Kronkorken haben wir auch noch eingesammelt und die schönsten behalten.

Of course, we were also very lucky with the weather in this summer of the century and were able to look for shells on the beach every day. We also collected hundreds of crown caps and kept the most beautiful ones.

Der Ausblick war grandios.

The view was magnificent.

In der direkten Umgebung gab es einen Nationalpark, den man zu Fuß oder mit dem Rad erkunden konnte. Hier gab es auch Wildpferde und Bisons aus nächster Nähe in freier Wildbahn zu bestaunen.

In the immediate vicinity there was a national park that you could explore on foot or by bike. Here there were also wild horses and bison to marvel at close range in the wild.

Die ein oder andere größere Tour mit dem Bike habe ich mir natürlich auch gegönnt.

The one or other larger tour with the bike I have of course also allowed myself.

Aber das Highlight des Urlaubs war natürlich der phänomenale Strand zum Baden, Spazieren und Beobachten der vielen Kitesurfer.

But the highlight of the vacation was of course the phenomenal beach for swimming, walking and watching the many kite surfers.

Auch der Besuch der Formel 1 Rennstrecke Zandvoort war echt cool. Wir hatten Glück denn am Wochenende fanden dort mehrere Rennen statt und der Eintritt war frei. Mazda MX5, 3er BMW und Merzedes SLK trugen hier untereinander ihre Rennen in den verschiedenen Klassen aus. Absolut top war das Rennen der "Oldtimer", hier konnte man alte Rennwagen aus verschiedenen Jahrzehnten auf der Stecke bewundern.

Also the visit to the Formula 1 race track Zandvoort was really cool. We were lucky because on the weekend there were several races and the entrance was free. Mazda MX5, 3-series BMW and Merzedes SLK performed here among themselves their races in the various classes. Absolutely top was the race of the "Oldtimer", here you could admire old racing cars from different decades on the track.

Auch eine Bootstour auf den Grachten der Stadt Haarlem war ein Muss. Hier eine der alten Windmühlen, die vielerorts noch immer ihren Dienst tun.

A boat trip on the canals of the city of Haarlem was also a must. Here one of the old windmills, which are still in service in many places.

Wenn das Wetter mitspielt, wie bei uns, ist es ein unvergesslicher Urlaub, den ich jedem empfehlen kann. Noch ein kleiner Tipp: Probiert unbedingt die Meeresspezialitäten an einem der Verkaufswagen am Strand zum Beispiel die Mosselen ( fritierte Muscheln ), ein Traum.

If the weather plays along, as it did with us, it is an unforgettable vacation that I can recommend to everyone. Another small tip: Try the sea specialties at one of the vending carts on the beach for example the Mosselen (fried mussels), a dream.
