Walking like a granny up Birds Beak Mountain (Niao Zui Shan) Hike

It was hiking day yesterday, I went to Niao Zui Shan which I've translated to Birds Beak Mountain in Taiwan. It's only 1483m above sea level, low by Taiwan standards but it took us 4 hours to elevate 950.
In my video you may notice me walking like a granny with a walking stick, that's not because I've suddently grown old recently but because the elevation is quite steep. You'll see some sections where we have to use ropes to heave ourselves up.
Coming back down took us 6 hours due to a little mishap. I'll tell you about that story when I write my detailed post about the hike. In the meanwhile, come walk with me on my hike!

I have been trying to love hiking , but I found out that I am extremely 'hikephobic' lol.
So, what do you suggest I do ??
Start with short walks along the river, the beach, or in the countryside, who doesn't like a gentle walk? ^_^
