Kolum Run To Inflated Spooks

Went for a quick walk so I could capture some pics of some Kolums for you. These are floor decorations comprising of coloured rice or coloured powder.

Kolums are found during Deepavali which is celebrated by Hindus. Today is Deepavali.

However, walking through the malls, the Halloween decorations seemed to overshadow the kolum.

There was a very impressive Halloween decor made with balloons and it featured ghosts and ghouls of all kinds. I couldn’t help myself.
