For the third day in a row, we can see the sky in town - the fog over our region has gone and the sun is shining, but it has become cold, frrrrrreezing cold.

I have come home from work at about 8am this morning, I was tired and it was too cold to get out for a walk. Usually I don't mind the coldness because it's all about the right clothing, but it's different when I'm tired... so, there are no new photos today, but a few I have taken in mid of September at the reservoir, before they began to restaurate the bridge.

It was a calm morning and the fog told about the soon beginning of the Autumn. I was on my way back to the car when I noticed that the rising sun illuminated the bridge beautifully golden orange. Of course I had to take a photo of this scene.

On my walk along the reservoir I have taken a few macro photos of flowers covered by dew drops - I like such wet flowers and only when you take macros you can see the full beauty of these droplets ... at least my bad eyes are able to see them only that way 😆

I leave all EXIF and IPTC information stored in the pictures.

What a co-incidence that we both posted flowers today Hannes.
Not our normal fare and that makes it extra special.

Your tag picture is also extra special and Christmas postcard stuff!
I like how that bridge was set on fire by the sun.

Now I know that Austrian mountain goats don't bother with the names of the flowers that they eat, so I will just let the subject rest here 🤣

I have many flower macros from spring and summer too, but didn't have the time yet to post them. I love flowers most when they still have morning dew on, like in these photos.

... and I have no idea what these flowers are called, this time I didn't even google for their names 😂

Oh yes, the dew certainly lends an extra effect to them my friend.
We shall just call them (Floretus dewaliscous)

Love that bridge shot, good timing and little wind for such a nice flat surface reflection. That last dew encrusted flower is pretty awesome in its own right especially when opened fully up in another window.

I have taken many shots of this bridge before, mostly when it was foggy, but I have never seen it like that, and I was so glad that I have been there at the right moment :)

Yeah, about one week before I have also been there and have taken photos of such a flower.

Only at home I have seen how beautiful it really was. So, a week later I was hoping to find such flowers again ... and I did :)

That was a very lucky morning for me, because I thought I had been lucky to find such nice flowers to take macro photos of, but then right before I was at my car the sun rose a bit higher and illuminated just the bridge and almost nothing else 😁

The golden orange shot of the bridge is phenomenal. You were there at the right moment for unusual scenes like that disappear quickly. Love the droplets on the wet flowers.

Winter is right around the corner and I can feel the chill in the air in the mornings.

Winter is coming in big steps and brings hopefully a lot of the white stuff to cover the from day to day more gray landscape.

Actually, it is even more complicated to work from here, but also cool - my wife and I are sitting at the dining table with our office laptops and work between doing other things like cooking or Hiving 🤣

Morning mist walking through dew on grasses far outshines any workplace, freedom to allow ones mind to roam.

Sadly someone has to pay the bills and sort Taxman out once a year!

Stout effort in convincing me the office desk is more comfortable, so here is that !BEER to enjoy during leisure time.

That's exactly what I have done this morning before I have gone to work at our dining table: I have gone for a walk ;)
Only, the grass was more frozen than wet and the morning mist has been too dense for me to take photos.

There was not much frost on the plants, but I could take a couple of photos of leaves with a few ice crystals ... and then I headed back home to work 🤣

The dewy flowers are fresh, and because of the winter weather, it's nice to see the dew drop overnight when the dew drops fall on the flowers.This is the first bridge gold color I have seen.👍

The golden bridge is beautiful with amazing reflections on the water. The mountains with the foggy atmosphere are very wonderful. Yeah! The dew drops on these flowers are really gorgeous. I do really love these. Great capture! ;)
