Mutawintji Moonlight

A lone tree is illuminated by the rising moon over the red soil of Mutawintji National Park. The rugged, mulga-clad Byngnano Range is dissected by colourful gorges, rockpools and creek beds lined with red gums. Mutawintji is an ancient landscape revered by the local Aboriginal people and a perfect spot for seeking some quiet contemplation. Outback New South Wales, eastern Australia.

Do you have sunset and moonrise at the same time or is that just moon? :O

It feels like there's something big there from the look of the photo, why is it revered?
