Widespread decline, BTC always drags - Bajas generalizadas, BTC siempre arrastra
We have been observing a general decline in all cryptocurrencies, tokens, and funds associated with them for several days. The minnow market suffers greatly and some large investors and traders are likely to have similar sentiments as well, not all of course. Regarding the latter, most seem to bet on long positions playing with call and put options, which ensures significant profits. That strategy is practically inaccessible to small investors.
Of course, there are a lot of theories about the current price and bearish condition of the markets, the main ones have occurred in China (when not) and were two consecutive events that according to calculations could have caused a decrease of up to 20% in power computing of bitcoin miners. Those events were the accident at the coal mine in the Xinjiang region that caused the stoppage of fuel extraction and the subsequent power outage. The justification seems reasonable, but it also shows that cryptocurrency mining still relies heavily on dirty energies. However, some analysts have come out to refute these theories arguing that cryptocurrency mining consumes mostly clean energy and in areas where electricity is not very necessary.
However, it is not my intention to talk about quotes and market strategies but rather something that attracts my attention; It has been several years since the creation of the friend Nakamoto and many other projects and different cryptocurrencies have come to light, some with schemes that overcome several of the original design problems of Bitcoin. Several with ingenious schemes and important objectives, solid, independent, and credible projects, but the dependence on the original project could not be overcome.
It is enough for the bitcoin to lower its price and the market becomes bearish for all the others to follow it in the same way, no matter any of the aforementioned, they are hopelessly dragged. That is a big difference from other traditional markets and it will probably make it something different, unique if you prefer and also dangerous.
Desde hace varios días venimos observando una baja generalizada de todas las cripto monedas, tokens y fondos asociados a las mismas. El mercado de los pececitos sufre enormemente y es probable que también algunos grandes inversionistas y traders tengan sentimientos similares, no todos por supuesto. Respecto a estos últimos, la mayoría parece apostar por posiciones largas jugando con opciones de compra y venta lo cual les asegura importantes ganancias. Esa estrategia es prácticamente inaccesible para los pequeños inversionistas.
Por supuesto hay una gran cantidad de teorías sobre la actual cotización y condición bajista de los mercados, las principales han ocurrido en China (cuando no) y fueron dos eventos consecutivos que según cálculos pudo haber provocado una merma de hasta un 20% en el poder de cómputo de los mineros del bitcoin. Esos eventos fueron el accidente en la mina de carbón de la región de Xinjiang que provocó la paralización de la extracción del combustible y el posterior corte de energía. Parece razonable la justificación, pero también demuestra que la minería de criptomonedas aun depende en gran medida de energías sucias. Sin embargo, algunos analistas han salido a refutar estas teorías argumentando que la minería de criptomonedas consume mayoritariamente energía limpia y en zonas donde la electricidad no es muy necesaria.
Sin embargo, no es mi intención hablar de cotizaciones y estrategias de mercado sino de algo que me llama poderosamente la atención; ya han pasado varios años desde la creación del amigo Nakamoto y muchos otros proyectos y criptomonedas diferentes han salido a la luz, algunas con esquemas superadores de varios de los problemas de diseño original del Bitcoin. Varias con esquemas ingeniosos y objetivos importantes, proyectos sólidos, independientes y creíbles, pero la dependencia al proyecto primigenio no ha podido ser superada.
Basta que el bitcoin baje su cotización y el mercado se vuelva bajista para que todas las demás lo sigan en idéntico camino, no importa nada de lo mencionado anteriormente, son arrastradas sin remedio. Esa es una gran diferencia respecto a otros mercados tradicionales y probablemente lo convierta en algo diferente, único si lo prefieren y también peligroso.
