     Hello to all the Gems community, today I come to tell you about this special day, Mother's Day, and how we celebrate it in my family.

     Hola a toda la comunidad de Gems, hoy vengo a contarles sobre este día tan especial, el día de las madres, y sobre como lo festejamos en mi familia.

     My brother and I did not agree to do something different this day, our first plan was to prepare some hot dogs, but in the end we decided to prepare some good nuggets, since it would be easier and we would be more satisfied. In addition to a case of beer, which is not very usual in my family, but my mother is very fond of these from time to time, so we thought it would be a great surprise if we bought one to share with everyone.

     Mi hermano y yo no pusimos de acuerdo para hacer algo diferente este día, nuestro primer plan fue preparar unos perros calientes, pero la final nos decidimos por preparar unos buenos pepitos, ya que sería más fácil y quedaríamos más satisfechos. Además de una caja de cervezas, lo cual no es muy usual en mi familia, pero mi madre es muy amante de estas de vez en cuando, así que pensamos que sería una gran sorpresa si comprábamos una para compartirla con todos.

     The food would be prepared by us, and although my sister-in-law started with the food because my brother was late due to some last minute work he had to do, as soon as he arrived he went to his post to continue and finish the preparation of everything.

     La comida la prepararíamos nosotros, y aunque mi cuñada comenzó con la comida por el retraso de mi hermano debido a un trabajo a última hora que tuvo que hacer, apenas llegó se pudo en su puesto a continuar y terminar de preparar todo.

     Meanwhile I was cutting the breads that we were going to stuff, many people there said that I was chopping them too big, but I was sure that they would have no problem to eat them because of how tasty they would be.

     Mientras tanto yo estaba cortando los panes que íbamos a rellenar, muchos allí presentes decían que los estaba picando muy grande, pero estaba seguro de que no iban a tener problemas para comérselos por lo rico que estarían.

     Now with all the ingredients ready we began to fill, first we poured the sauce and then the salad, then the meat and the chorizo, and as a special detail, on top, a little grated yellow cheese to give it a different touch.

     Ahora con todos los ingredientes listos comenzamos a rellenar, primero le echábamos la salsa y posteriormente la ensalada, luego la carne y el chorizo, y como detalle especial, encima, un poco de queso amarillo rallado para darle un toque diferente.

     Now we were ready to eat, as soon as they were ready we sat down at the table to taste them, we practically did not talk much at that moment, because as almost all of us had been very hungry for a while, we were very inspired eating. Once we finished eating, the stories and laughter continued, even my sister-in-law's sister made a video call via Whatsapp to greet and congratulate her mother and grandmother who were there.

     Ahora sí, listos para comer, apenas estuvieron listos nos sentamos en la mesa a degustarlos, prácticamente no hablamos mucho en ese momento, porque como casi todos ya teníamos mucha hambre desde hace rato, estábamos muy inspirados comiendo. Una vez terminado de comer siguieron los cuentos y las risas, incluso, la hermana de mi cuñada hizo una videollamada por Whatsapp para saludar y felicitar a su mamá y su abuela quienes estaban allí presentes.

     Celebrating Mother's Day as a family is amazing, but we have to remember to show her our love every day, just like her, who has done it since we were just in her womb, who has always been there to help us, support us and teach us everything we need to become the person we are today.

     Festejar el día de las madres en familia es increíble, pero tenemos que recordar que debemos demostrarle nuestro amor todos los días, así como ella, que lo ha hecho desde que apenas estábamos en su vientre, que ha estado allí siempre, para ayudarnos, apoyarnos y a enseñarnos todo lo necesario para convertirnos en la persona que somos hoy en día.
