[ENG][ESP] A different night // Una noche diferente

     Hello to all the Gems community, today I'm here to tell you how a dinner outing ended up being one at home, ironic isn't it?

     Hola a toda la comunidad de Gems, hoy les vengo a contar de como una salida a cenar terminó siendo una en casa ¿irónico no?

     I've been visiting my girlfriend's house since Friday, and we've been looking forward to going out for a different kind of dinner, and tonight would be the perfect opportunity to do so.

     Desde el día viernes estoy de visita en casa de mi novia, y desde hace tiempo teníamos ganas de salir a cenar algo diferente, y esta noche sería la oportunidad perfecta para ello.

     We were running a little late, because we had quite a few things to do during the day, but fortunately, although we had to get ready in quite a hurry, we had time to finish everything before leaving.

     Se nos hizo un poco tarde, porque teníamos bastantes cosas que hacer durante el día, pero afortunadamente, aunque nos tuvimos que alistar con bastante apuro, nos dio tiempo de terminarlo todo antes de salir.

     Around 9 pm we left my girlfriend's house, heading to a very famous place around here called "Hambrientos". After about 15 minutes and almost 10 blocks walking we finally arrived at the place, getting the surprise that, due to the radical quarantine week, they would only be working to take away, since our intention was to eat there, but, due to the time, and since there was no other option, we decided to buy the food and take it home.

     Cerca de las 9 de la noche salimos de la casa de mi novia, dirigiéndonos a un lugar muy famoso por aquí llamando "Hambrientos". Después de unos 15 minutos y casi 10 cuadras caminando por fin llegamos al lugar, llevándonos la sorpresa de que, debido a la semana de cuarentena radical, solo estarían trabajando para llevar, ya que nuestra intención era comer allá, pero, debido a la hora, y ya qué no había otra opción, decidimos comprar la comida y llevarla a casa.

     We spent a few minutes thinking about what to take, as there were several very good options, in the end we decided to take some mixed hamburgers and some dogs. While waiting for the order, we decided to walk around the square in front of the store, where we took some nice pictures to remember that special day.

     Duramos algunos minutos pensando en que llevar, ya que había varias opciones muy buenas, al final nos decidimos por llevarnos unas hamburguesas mixtas, y unos perros. Mientras esperamos el pedido, decidimos caminar un poco por la plaza que está al frente del negocio, donde nos tomamos algunas fotos muy bonitas para recordar ese día especial.

     About 15 minutes later, our order was ready, and although we were very hungry, we had to walk another 10 blocks back home to eat. Once there we didn't think twice and immediately sat down to eat, they were delicious and very filling, so much so that we had a hard time eating them.

     Unos 15 minutos más tarde, nuestro pedido estaba listo, y aunque teníamos muchísima hambre, debíamos caminar otras 10 cuadras de regreso a casa para poder comer. Una vez ahí no lo pensamos dos veces e inmediatamente nos sentamos a comer, estaban buenísimas y llenaban bastante, tanto que nos costó bastante comérnoslas.

     Although our lunch date was not as we imagined, the important thing is that we were able to turn the situation around and have a great time anyway, it is like everything in life, there may be circumstances that interfere with our plans, but it is up to us to decide if our plan is ruined or if we give it a twist and make that circumstance, a wonderful time, because we must always remember that with an excellent company like the one I had, the rest is enough.

     Aunque nuestra cita a comer no fue como nos la imaginamos, lo importante es que le supimos dar la vuelta a la situación y pasarla genial igualmente, es como todo en la vida, puede haber circunstancias que interfieran en nuestros planes, pero está en nosotros decidir si, nuestro plan se arruinó o, si le damos un giro de tuerca y hacemos de esa circunstancia, un momento maravilloso, porque siempre deben que recordar que, con una excelente compañía como la que tenía yo, el resto, sobra.
